There has been some confusion concerning Non-member fees and the SCCA's new policy of a mandatory temporary weekend membership at all SCCA events. Hopefully, the following will clear things up:

Unless otherwise noted, the price for each Solo event will be $20.00 for a SCCA Member and $30.00 for a non-member.

The $30.00 non-member fee will include the mandatory SCCA Temporary Weekend Membership.

There will be a form available at registration to fill out for this temporary membership. In order to expedite the registration process, please fill out the form prior to registering.

Non-members who pre-register at MyAutoEvents.com will still have to fill out the temporary membership form.

The SCCA Temporary Weekend Membership is good for one event weekend only. Non-members will have to fill out a membership form for each event attended.

However, there is a bright side to all of this:

If you submit one (1) temporary membership to the SCCA along with $60.00 or two (2) temporary memberships along with $45.00, you become a SCCA member. No more fuss!

TOPEKA, Kan. (May 9, 2008) – Sports Car Club of America’s Board of Directors approved today at its face-to-face meeting in Topeka the approval of National Auto Sport Association licenses for Regional Club Racing competition, effective immediately.

The NASA Competition License joins those of 13 other organizations approved for Regional competition. Any of these license holders may participate in a Regional event, providing they are a full, First Gear, family or weekend member.

Come join the Lake Erie British Car Club for our 10th annual "The British Return to Fort Meigs" British Car and Bike show, located at the Fort Meigs Historical Site, Route 65, Perrysburg, Ohio. While you show your car you can take a tour of a restored fort from the War of 1812, try a challenging British car quiz, shop at one of our vendors, or sample some tasty delights from one of our food vendors. The gremlins were out in full force today. Our main timing & scoring computer decided not to cooperate on several occasions (at registration and about 3 runs into the first heat). We had to switch to our backup system which lacked printing capabilities. Because of this, we were unable to post results and perform our usual audits. Once the audit procedure is finished, final results will be posted. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

As you probably already know, the pre-registraton openings for the Toledo Pro Solo scheduled for July 5th & 6th are filled. What you may not know is that there is a waiting list. It is highly recommended that if you wish to participate in the Pro Slolo, please add your name to the waiting list ASAP.
